Just had to post..... kept laughing at the simplicity. Im a fatshark guy but today during a state of boredom I got creative. I used a gopro, ipad mini, a bit of electrical tape and the go-pro Wifi app, to fly FPV. Yes its limited to WiFi range and streaming was not perfect but the picture was fantastic. good news is when I lost Wifi, just had to look up (LOS). Also worked great for ease of changing go pro settings on the fly....

Im still cracking up.

that would still be FPV.. just unusable unless you're traveling at a snails pace. The lag alone will have you crashed before you even know you're close to the object

Lmao I've tried this on a friend's trexx rc truck, worked out kinda ok until, like mentioned, I ran into something because the lag, but hey wasn't my truck ;)

Yea, Lag terrible, picture great... Wont be long, our headsets will have the same picture quality as the go-pros we attach and at same speed. Cant wait.
Till then I play and pretend I know what I am doing:)

twood be nice eh....FPV or not, ,keep RC fun and worthwhile I always say. For the desk jockey computer experts and those with brains larger than mine, technology will follow. One day it will catch us......I hope.

It's like a clone of arris xspeed 250b, I love the h wings. I find that they can be comfortably agile and smooth or aggressively raw, but that's just opinion. I know flyers who can't fly anything that's not X wing, they say the balance is too different with the H. Maybe I'm just to novice to notice haha

It is very predictable. Again, the frame allows for all kinds of batteries. Got velcro on drone top and bottom and on batteries, plus 2 straps I either flip up or down. Amazed at how well it can haul around a go-pro and 11.1V 5000mAH battery. Yes, its a tank with that set-up....but for long flights and footage...works great.
Never flown an X wing.....been pretty happy with this version though I am now reaching its capabilities........or so I say.

Gee willackers Batman! 5000mah batteries?! The biggest I have is an Arris 1500 mah but most I have are 1300 tattu's.
Tank is an understatement for a 250.

250. Ground to ~300ft up ( wag of 5-7 seconds) hauling the 11.1V 5KmAH and gopro..Im getting ~15ish minutes flight time. I am looking into bigger batts too. .

Id push the battery life but afraid I'd drop this tank on someone. When it dies., it dies.

2C at 7.4V, 3C at 11.1. "C" is the number of battery cells in the pack.

Im learning a lot as I play. The battery power/life vs Drone characteristics are a tough one. I want power, agility, and mega airtime.......no go. Pick 2.

It's all good, I'm still learning too, I use 4cells gives a faster punch but flight time on the 1500 is like 10 minutes if I'm aggressive

Sorry, don't know what I was thinking. "C" isn't designate for amount of cells "S" is. That must of been confusing, I apologise lol "c" is charge rate.
