DJI FPV Limited video transmission range

Good day,

When I do videography with my DJI FPV, I can you get the drone 2-2.5 km away before my google display starts to pixelate.
I do mostly fly over the Pacific Ocean with very little head wind.

Is the normal, does anyone else have the same experience. It seems to me it was advertised as 5-6 km range.

Where in the world are you? That's an "up to" with USA RF regulations and in optimal conditions.

I am currently in the state of Oaxaca on Mexico's Pacific coast. We have been here almost 6 months, and will be heading to Canada for 6 months next Thursday.

Unfortunately you need a hack to unlock the full potential of these drones
2 -2.5 km is a respectful distance and way beyond VLOS so legally no you really improve the range,
If you do upgrade antennas make sure they are dual band or lock the transmission to either 2.4 or 5.8ghz
