My beautiful wife of 30 years watches me struggle with my eyesight and poor lighting when I'm trying to install and repair the tiny little electrical components in our little bandits. She came across this unique little item at the sewing store. I think I'll get a lot of use out of it!

That thing is sweet man. I have one of the smaller helping hands with the clips and magnified piece but the eye piece is kinda crappy so it's just as hard to use it as to eyeball it. I need one of those basketball sized eye pieces lol.

Yeah, I'm going to get a lot of use out of that contraption! I think I'll keep her a while longer, later in the day I received this wonderful gift.

That's a sweet gift. Your a lucky man...deservedly so I imagine. I'm hoping to reconcile with my ex. After a few years break. Its looking good...see what happens...if not more money for drones

My parents bought me a 3D printer!

Jo,

I've had my eye on that one for a while now. The reviews on it are really good. I hope you made sure your parents know how very thankful you are for such a great gift!

Now, get to making some parts!!!

Jerry

Believe me, they know. It's been going everyday since the day after Christmas.

Man, that is a nice printer. I am super jealous. You should test it on a GoPro mount for an Alien frame. Just mail it to me and I will let you know how it fits for free xD

I did get myself a couple drone presents. A Lowepro Quadguard BP X2 backpack for drones, and 10 german insulated screw drivers for all common drone fasteners.

I only have PLA which wouldn't hold up well.

I plan to get a LowePro BP X2 when I get my tax refund

The other stuff still isn't in, but I did get me some fancy purple screws. The old ones were getting really rusty anyways. Now I just need to fix the ugly hack job I did installing the new VTX.

Green,

That's a clean looking build! It looks like you put a great bit of care into building it. Thanks for sharing. I love the pics and videos.

Jerry

Thanks Jerry. I don't much care for the red but I couldn't find any purple motors at the time. There are some nice ones at DroneProz that are about to come out, but they are expensive. They would be an upgrade in speed but I dunno if I need that yet with my current flying skills!

Drone bag came in, and it really fits a lot of stuff. Even my giant goggles fit in there with all the other stuff.
