So I am probably gonna order one of these cameras. My plan is to take it apart and mount the board inside the frame. Then I will encase the lens in a foam cube, and design and 3d print a TPU mount to hold the foam cube. What do you guys think? Do I need to do the lens replacement mod also?

I'm not sure that I'd do the lens replacement just yet. The other lens is hard to come by and who knows when we'll actually be able to get them. Personally, I'm not as concerned with replacing the lens as I am with removing the jello. Let me know when you've ordered two of the SQ-11's and I'll pay for them so you can start doing some testing and samples.

I was thinking the jello may be due to the lens. But we can try with the original lens first and see what happens.
