Thanks Wayno, everyone seemed to like that sleeving and it is the easier to work with of the two types I was considering so it worked out nice.

I am waiting on parts again since my Tramp HV vtx was just a bit too big to fit. :|

The build is pretty much done. I haven't configured anything. Also, I will be getting a different vtx antenna for it, but not sure which one yet. Probably a different color forever tube as well.

I ordered another Merica 5" frame base to try. Same ESC but with Hyperlite 2205 1922kv motors ($14 each!). It should be over 20g lighter than the 2306 version. It will use the same pod, and plugs in with a single connector.

I'm afraid not. I don't have a good excuse except that I am building another base for the same pod still, this time with Hyperlite 2205 1922kv motors. Mainly I am addicted to building these things more than flying I guess, if I am being honest.
