Motion controller 2 compatible with DJI FVP

Does anyone know if the DJI motion controller 2 is compatible with the DJI FVP drone? I have the googles 2 and controller 2 but I have the first generation motion controller, I like the improvements of the MC2 has, but I don't want to waste money if it is not compatible, thank you!

No, that's not correct.

The DJI RC Motion 2 remote controller is only compatible when used with the DJI FPV Goggles V2, as confirmed by the release notes you shared. So, if you're flying your DJI FPV drone with the DJI FPV Goggles V2, you’re all set.
