Hello,
Does anyone have experience with setting up video transmission over cellular networks?
Any recommendation which software and hardware to use for a custom build?
Which video codec is more suitable h.264 / h.265 / AV1 for ultra-low latency stream?
Any suggestions on hardware encoders/cameras and etc with ultra-low latency?
Internet says if you use FPGA chip you can achieve <1ms delay for encoding H.264 but you need to know how to program FPGA and it will be a very complex task....
Other option might be is to use Nvidia Jetson for fast H.264 encoding but I don't know the performance of Jetson...
Or use some multimedia chip for different chipmakers like Ambarella. But I don't know where to buy their chips. Seems like they only work business to business.
Would be great to use AV1 codec but hardware for this codec will be very pricy.
Currently I have a Raspberry Pi 4 its quite slow...
