Hi all,

By seing the Dji fpv drone got me inspired for an idea to create a new frame.

It will be a 40x60mm carbon cube with a use of an Armattan 6" camelion ti baseplate that will be cut in the middle, planing to mount it to the cube with pressnuts, In the cube will be also CNCd openings for cooling, battery straps etc

More like an Z frame but with the motors angled at ~22 degrees, this will give when flying at cruising speed that the cube will be vertical, also the arms will not have much drag.

Just like the dji fpv drone 2 antennas can be mounted under the 2 front arms, battery will be in center of drone, XT60 connector can be at the back.

The hardest part will be the angled motor mounts, will need them CNC made.

Also, with a carbon tube with inner diameters that could hold the Dji fpv drone battery, it would be possible to transplant the electronics to a carbon frame for the Dji drone

Look at the pictures and tell me your thoughts please, size of props are 5.1 inch in pictures and battery 1300 6S to give an idea, flight controler wil be at 22° at take off possition but can be calibrated, also the possitions of the electronics is a first thought.

Many thanks
