From the little I know, for filtering purposes, the larger uF cap used on the xt connection was more of a broad brush filtering effort that accommodated the entire board(s),esc’s and could mask any poor soldering efforts during a build. The smaller uF caps (370) were targeted at fitting to the esc’s which are usually the source of any floor noise due to them managing the output of each of the motors. You can run smaller V caps when using lower cell motors as your not likely to punch through the cap, whereas the larger 4,5 and 6S quads probably defer to the 35V due to the voltage sag and and current draw when flying and doing punch outs.So I finished my third rebuild on my 3" Flyno Cerberus today.
