Copter fell out of the air

Hello.it was flying fine all of a sudden it just dropped. This was the other day. I thought my battery died. Yesterday with a fresh pack it flew around a few minutes and the same thing. The binding bars were lit on transmitter.flysky. I have a new FC. I will replace that first. I have pdb also.this is the 100$ build on YouTube. Any thoughts

Could be one of several things. I'd start by checking for bad solders and loose plugs etc. Then I'd fly it till it did it again and check for hot motors, hot esc's and hotspots on frame.

The frame is a Liam 210 sp f3 FC . 4 in 1 ESC. Racestar br2205 motors. The motors we're not hot.

I’m far from an expert but I agree with Vv. Sounds like a loose or bad wiring connection somewhere. If it happens on turns or rolls especially

Seems the racerstar 4 in 1 esc's have given several members problems, may want to start there if you don't find any obvious issues

I'm flying Los. It was floating level and dropped

I forgot to mention this bird flew into a pool over the summer. I used the hairdryer overnite to dry the parts out. It worked fine for 2 months or so. I think it is related. I have a new FC pdb.and 4 way ESC..

Update. I replaced the 4 in 1 ESC and pdb. Same problem.replaced FC with the same sp f3 . After 1 batt it's ok but now it won't hover up strait it flys forward a bit. Do I tune that in the transmitter or beta flight. Thanks everyone I couldn't have come this far alone.

Make sure your battery is in the center of gravity

I have had similar issues after changing from 1 pack to another. I have different packs 3s 4s 70 to 95c. It is almost always cg. As Virtue said check that first

You can also trim it on your transmitter, if yours have trim buttons

I set the pids the same as FC 1. Some we're different. It is better but floats forward slightly. I have flysky i6. It has trims I'm afraid to touch them to make things worse. It is slight now

Next time you change flight controllers use something other than the sp racing fc's, like omnibus etc. I really like Raceflight myself, its the easiest

I keep the same parts for such emergency. Configuring and pids are saved already. I used the sub trim with the receiver tab in betaflight. Lowered the pitch number it is fine enough. Time to get a few bats in. today is a beautiful day in Jersey. Tomorrow rain. I think the FC was disarming the ESC when it fell last time. The bind bars were lit. I heard a peep when it fell. All the lites stayed on. That's my guess.

I flew 4 Batts no problem.flips and rolls. Circuit boards do wierd things when they get wet. I'm considering this case closed for now. Both teams fans at a girls softball game liked me flying around the wizzard in a next field before the game. People came up to me and said wow that's cool.bye for now
