Did you install the driver? Install the driver from this page of you haven't already
STSW-STM32102 - STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver - STMicroelectronics - STMicroelectronics
After that, you may need to try the other com ports at the top right of cleanflight. Also be sure baudrate (near com port drop down) is set to 115200.

Yep make sure you have the drivers and they are updated. They have a how to use video that also has problem solving questions on YouTube. Also I'm assuming you have an idea of what your doing. If you don't make sure you plug the quad into the USB and then connect the battery.
