Hi folks newbie here. im wondering how to use my phone with the goggles 3 and Avata 2. im wanting to use Quickshots but It seems I have to use my phone for this. But how can I see phone screen with headset on. Does the phone screen show up in goggles screen/view..or do i need to buy a normal control unit like with sticks

What exactly are you after and what remote do you have?
There are no Quickshots on the Avata 2, there's the "easy acro" moves but doing those is only possible with the Motion Controller 3.

thanks for reply.I thought the avata did like.rocket etc..like preprogrammed flights like the Air 2 etc.. yeh i have the motion 3..

I sort-off see where you're going with this. If you want quick shots and rocket get yourself a Neo for that sort of things. The Neo is cheap right now since the Neo 2 is out. Reach out to DJI to get them to upgrade the firmware to use and RC2 and an RC-N3 controller.

I would love to use my RC2 and RC-N3 with my Avata 2 but I can't yet.
In fact, if I break or lose my goggles, the aircraft is grounded and the batteries become paper weights.
Come on DJI, fix the firmware to make the Avata 2 compatible with the remotes just like the Neo.
Avata 2 pilots need some redundancy measures.
