How do you connect small drones to betaflight

Hello all,

I've Been looking into making a mini quad but I want it to fly acro, ice seen a few videos of people making the drones but they skip over how they connect them to betaflight. Don't know if this is an obvious question but any help would be welcomed.

You'll need to download the most recent version of Betaflight Configurator 10.3.1 (DO NOT use 10.3.0, nasty bug) and the relevant drivers.
