How FOV determines what and how you see through the camera and your goggles

I find no useful upper limit on FOV for goggles. More FOV means more immersive. Peripheral vision is key in experiencing the feeling of traveling at high speed. Do my eyes have to "work harder"? Honestly I don't really know what you are talking about. Sometimes I do move my eyeballs to see the OSD, and I fly on 80° FOV goggles.
