Need help with installation of arm LEDs

I have recently purchased an Arris C250 v2 and I have already made a few modifications. I'm looking to get add some LEDs to the arms to help with orientation and aesthetics.

Does anybody know how to do this? Do I splice into the existing LED bar? I'm still using the stock Flycolor 4-in-1 tower. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The spec sheet provided with delivery isn't nearly that detailed.

Stupid question... how do I determine the mode?

Mode as in: left or right hand throttle?

You configure it in betaflight or cleanflight
