When I click down load, a message comes up invalid certificate does this mean the site is un trustworthy? any one else run into this?

I would recommend using Librepilot or Cleanflight for your CC3D board. OpenPilot is not supported any more, but either LibrePilot or Cleanflight work well with that Flight Controller.
