Hi, newbie here. I'm hoping one of y'all can help me with questions regarding hardware and remote ID compliance. Specifically I'm a bit confused about the role of the goggles, the controller, and the drone.

1) If I fly a DJI FPV drone, do I have to use the Integra goggles in order to be compliant?

2) If I fly an Avata, can I use any of the DJI goggles and be compliant?

3) Can I fly either the DJI FPV drone or the Avata with the RC Pro controller (with or without goggles)? And if so am I compliant?

Thanks!

I have an Avata and FPV. On the Avata, there is a wire from the googles V2 to my phone (with the DJI Fly app open) to fly with remote id. You can pull the cord out after the motors are armed, but a small fairly unobtrusive remote id warning will be on your screen while you fly. It does not seem to hamper flight.

The DJI FPV does not have remote id…. yet. I just did a firmware update on it and in the notes it said remote id support. I have no idea what that means, but I hope DJI in enabling it.
