Wiring fly sky i6 reciever

Hello again. I'm working on a 210 build. It is the 100$ build on YouTube . If I use the io1 do I have to configure that in clean fl.whats the difference between UART 2 and this io1. I see the wizard is this way. Is this ppm. I need to know the difference between ppm and pwm thanks again. I'm getting smarter soon I will report info to others.

io1 is a large pin header that has multiple inputs and outputs on it including some of the UARTs.
