4” Frankenstein

As I usually mention, I am fairly new to racing drones. My first 2 were RTF and cam early spring 2018. By August 2018 I did me first build and so far have built 5 from scratch.

Each time I do a build I implement something new I’ve learned and retrofit prior builds to match.

The quad below will be a culmination of everything I’ve learned so far. I’ve never used the stack or motor before. I’m conducting an experiment using 2207 2450kv and 4” props on 5s.

I watch a lot of YouTube reviews on cameras, flight controllers, esc, frames etc.. you name it, I watch it.

I typically dry fit the build before I solder anything.

She's a Beut'! (and those motors huh?) Those antenna mounts look like they're pretty close the props though.

Thanks, the antennas are out of the strike zone, they will never touch unless the antennas bend backwards.

What do you use for those? I use zip ties and shrink wrap still, and they're a little too flexible. I wouldn't be able to work a tolerance like that
