Recently I got into flying microquads, more specifically the BetaFPV Cetus Pro, it is a great kit, however I can't record my flights. The only option I have to record my flights for now is to use an OTG FPV adapter with my phone, and then record the screen of my phone. However, I don't want to always bring my phone everywhere I fly, and would like to find an easier way to record my flights to a microSD card. Buying other goggles with DVR isn't an option either, because I don't want to spend much money on goggles, and the ones that come with the kit work great for me!

Is there a device that you can power by battery/USB, insert a microSD card in it, tune into the analog 5.8Ghz frequency of the drone, and just record the flight?

Yes, something like this:

Recording quality may be meh and since it uses its own receiver there may be dropouts when you didn't have any in the goggles / if you have better antennas on the goggles you may need to install one on the recorder as well.

If your goggles have video out you can use a higher quality recorder-only like
