Rush Tank Solo band / chan button

How does one use this ? The instructions are terrible. I thought I had it set for
Band F, chan 7, but received nothing.
The table shows Band A, B, E, F, RACE, and LowRace. So, is Band F, 4 red flashes or 6 ? Now I can only seem to set the band. How does one work the button ?
