Hope you weren't hoping for warm weather here. I live in South Austin and it was 21 degrees when I got out of the bed this morning. I think it was the 3rd coldest temperature since in the last 17 years.
We're in Texas!! Finally got to fly a little...

Yeah, we didn't expect the cold but it's still about 30 degrees better than home and it's already warming up nicely! Ate at Hop Doddy's and did the Escape Game today. Good start but it's going to be tough flying where we are so I'm going to have to do some recon.

Jerry not sure exactly where you are but look up Old Settlers Park in Round Rock or there is a actual airfield for RC stuff off Slaughter Lane and Mary Moore Searight.. I heard both are great spots.
We have a elementary school right up the street so we just go fly in in the big open area, then take it out by the small lake near our house.

Well it wasn't much but I finally got to fly a little yesterday. Slammed together this clip. Off to drop the Daughter at the airport, fun stuff! Put the P3 up for some runs down to Lake Travis and found a spot to try out the GT2 and the XSpd 250B. Only got to run 3 bats each. I've still got a lot of work to do on my FPV flying. Seems all I can do is half-@ssed flips and rolls!

Thanks, Scott! Just slammed it together so people would know that I do actually fly the **** things when I get the chance! Going to a friends on Sunday and I'm really hoping to blow off all of my batteries. Been pretty busy driving everywhere so not a lot of flying time. Weather is great now, 80 today but windy. The shorts and flip flops came out today. Hope you get some better flying weather. Still waiting for some clips from you guys!

Last day in Texas. I'm not looking forward to heading north to the cold. Had a great time flying down here and I'm going to miss it. A few Texas drone photos to share.
