I wouldn't put sticky stuff under my motors. They get pretty hot sometimes and crash upside down. Might be fine though, never tried.

... im ignoring the rf vs bf conversation going forward. ill need to learn both unless someone tells me race flight can be confidently loaded onto a fc that is made for betaflight

I think raceflight one can only go on a revolt, a skitzo or a millivolt. Is that right guys?

orange, my drive here is to build a charge and fly toy to match my other two cerbs... thus my issues with matching raceflight setups to betaflight setups. ill get close but its just another pita.
once this is flying and tuned. i don't want to **** with it much...

i think the open source of raceflight is better if you have that time. you can do anything in that code, but when the board is made for betaflight I'm thinking my hands are tied

You have that backwards Raceflight isn't open source (any more), but betaflight is (still).

thanks for keeping me straight green. the water is right at nostral level right now information wise. my current montra is "this is fun", "this is fun", "i gotta learn this", "this is fun"... sigh

my mini is about 70% tuned and needs additional tuning. after watching a plethora of YouTube tuning vids, im flying with a slack tune. (need to tune out prop wash shakes ++)

to get that straight i gotta tune in raceflight while the two coming drones are gonna use betaflight. its unfortunate but i get opportunity to compare the two... not sure that's a plus but ill figure it out.
im counting on learning setup with this build and take that knowledge to the currently flying mini. i can't be down a day and gotta fly.. addict... so im not gonna mess with my bnf/tuned mini build till i can tune the 5"myself.
