My sp f3 boards open. Got a new dys f4 won't open the port. My driver shows it. This one came fastest on Amazon prime. If I can't open bf I won't install it.

You might need to do the "zadig thing". Joshua Bardwell has a video on it, maybe it was his betaflight drivers video?
I got it. Used the zandig searched and choose dys and switched to box to com. That opened the comport. Flashed new firmware
After hours of getting bf to open I soldered my fc on. Then it would not arm.checked and rechecked against another quad. Finally I clicked the switch on the motor tab saying I'm aware. Before I only did that to calibrate the motors. Funny thing is every change and save in other tabs I have to go to motor tab to hit through slide switch. A little more assembly and this bird is back in the air. I got all my knowledge from this site and many hours at the drivers but when that sucker opens or flashes firmware gets a big hell ya. Go down to tell the wife and kids they say who cares that's stupid. For all of of usus hell ya
