As I mentioned in another post, this is exactly the right strategy, given the target noob customer. Most will never buy a stick controller and have any interest in Rate Mode control.
Especially when their only experience and "refexes" will be MC. I expect most Avata customers will absolutely hate the stick controller if they ever try it.
